• Are data packages & Tender terms and conditions available online through SMRC website?

Yes, all bid round documents can be obtained through E-pay tab on the bids and auction page.

• Can any company apply for more than one area within Bid round?

Yes, after paying the prescribed fees for each region separately (data packages & Tender terms and conditions are purchased for each separate region)

• Is it possible to do a field trip for one of the bidding areas? What are the required procedures?

Yes, you contact the competent department at SMRC headquarter to find out the required papers and pay the prescribed fees. SMRC also has a technical team who is fully aware of all the company's concession.

• What are the evaluation criteria for the bid round, contract summary and PSA model?

A summary of the criteria for the technical and financial evaluation process, in addition to an overview of the contract and the terms of PSA model, has been placed on the Terms and Conditions tab of the Bids and auction page.

• What is the cost of purchasing the terms & conditions and data packages?

The cost of the tender terms & conditions for one region is (two thousand US dollars),

The cost of the data package for one region is (five thousand US dollars).

• Is it possible to obtain the law of any bid round block to be applied for? How?

Yes, it is possible to learn about any bid round block law and download it through the SMRC website by entering the investments page, then the agreements page.

• What are the advantages of working with the production sharing system?

The contractor shall be exempted from: All Fees, costumes duties, income taxes stamps and vat taxes.
