First Day of Egypt Mining Forum 2023
Participation of Shalatin Company in the Egyptian Mining Forum E.M.F.
Mr. / Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. / Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, and representatives of Shalateen Mineral Resources Company participated in the Egypt Mining Forum and Exhibition, which was held today , Tuesday, 7-18-2023.
The company's activities were displayed inside its pavilion at the exhibition, and several meetings were held with a number of local and international companies wishing to invest with Shalateen Company for exploration and exploitation of gold and associated minerals in the company's concession areas.
The technical works and financial conditions of Bid-round No. 1/2023 were also reviewed to explore for gold and its associated minerals and exploit them in the regions (Fatiri - Al-Barramiya - Atud - Hangaliya & Umm Oud - Hamata), which was announced on Tuesday 4/10/2023. Seven international companies have purchasing the Terms & Conditions documents and data packages of the Bid-round.
A number of local and international companies have expressed their willingness to participate in the bidding, especially since these areas are among the best areas in Egypt, and most of them were old mine areas.
Chairman of Shalateen Company (Engineer / Sherif El-Shahawy) in the panel discussion reviewed the challenges and opportunities of companies in the field of mining.
On the sidelines of the Egypt Mining Forum, sponsored by His Excellency Eng. Tarek El-Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Mr. Sherif El-Shahawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors, participated in a panel discussion on the opportunities and challenges facing companies in the field of mining, especially the exploration and exploitation of gold .
Mr. Geologist / Sherif El-Shahawy explained that the good management of projects, rehabilitation and good training of a distinguished geological nature, which leads to rapid commercial discoveries and thus the ease of participation of financial institutions in financing operations.
