The delegates of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources visited Eqat Gold Mines Company
- A delegates from the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, EMRA and SMRC headed by Geologist / Khaled El -Shishtawi - Chairman of the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority and Geologist / Sherif El –Shahawi- Chairman of Shalateen Mineral Resources Company visited Eqat Company work site to find out the current situation of extraction of gold ore at the site.
- It is noteworthy that Shalateen Company, through the contractor (wealth and resources company), announced the commercial discovery and adopting from Eng. Tariq Al -Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources on 7/29/2022. Eqat Company has been established by Law No. 43 of the year 2014, which is a joint operating company between EMRA, Shalateen Company and the wealth company, currently conducts experiments for extracting gold operations from commercial detection areas and production will be announced soon.
- The visit was attended by Dr. / Mohamed Al -Bagouri - General Director of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Petroleum, Geologist / Yasser Ramadan - Vice chairman of EMRA, Geologist / Abd EL Mageed Muhammad Abd EL Mageed, Vice chairman of Shalateen Company and Dr. / Mohamed El -Assar, Chairman of Eqat Company in addition to the representatives of EMRA, Shalateen and the wealth company.
